On time for the flight, the vows and the after-party. One written quote, a licensed chauffeur at your door, and nobody driving home.
Looking for a limo in Arizona that actually shows up on time? Arizona Limo Rides has served riders since 2007, from Phoenix Sky Harbor and Old Town Scottsdale to wedding venues in Paradise Valley and day trips to Sedona. We run sedans, SUVs, stretch limousines, Sprinter vans and party buses for airport transfers, weddings, prom, corporate travel and nights out.
Three promises sit behind every booking: the car arrives early, the price matches the quote, and the vehicle is clean and cool when you open the door. In a state where summer runs past 110°F and a first DUI means jail time, that is not luxury. It is the sensible way to get there.
The price of a limo in Arizona depends on four things: the vehicle, the number of hours, the date and the route. Most event rides are booked by the hour with a 2 to 4 hour minimum, and airport transfers are quoted as one flat trip. You get the exact price in a written quote before you book.
Your quote always shows the vehicle, the hours, any extra stops and whether gratuity is included. No fuel surcharge or late-night fee is added afterward.
It depends on the company, so always ask. A usual tip for a chauffeur is 15 to 20 percent. Your Arizona Limo Rides quote says in writing whether gratuity is already included.
Get a Free QuoteA sedan for two costs less than a stretch limo or a party bus for twenty.
Saturdays in October, prom weekends, WM Phoenix Open week, spring training weekends and New Year’s Eve book up first.
Daytime rides often cost less per hour than Friday and Saturday nights.
A day trip to Sedona or the Grand Canyon is booked as a full-day charter.
A good chauffeured ride comes down to three things: the driver is on time, the price matches the quote, and the vehicle is clean and cool when you open the door. We built every booking around those three.
Our fleet runs under an Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) limousine license with commercial auto insurance. Every chauffeur holds a commercial driver’s license, passes a background check and a drug and alcohol testing program, and has TSA security and first aid/CPR training.
You see the full price before you book, and it does not change because of traffic, weather or a late flight. No fuel surcharge, no late-night fee and no line items added at the end of the night.
A dispatcher answers at 2 a.m., and every reservation has a standby vehicle behind it. If a car breaks down or a driver calls out, a replacement is sent within 30 minutes anywhere in the Valley.
The ways Arizona riders book with us, from a 4 a.m. Sky Harbor run to a full day at the Grand Canyon. Each one has its own page with the details.
Sky Harbor, Mesa Gateway and Scottsdale Airport pickups with flight tracking, curbside meet-and-greet and help with bags.

Prom limo serviceOne bus for 15 to 30 friends, with the sound system and AC tested before pickup. Popular for Old Town Scottsdale nights and big birthdays.

Sedona and wine tour limoAbout 230 miles each way to the South Rim, leaving the Valley early and back the same night, with stops on the way.
Grand Canyon limo tourDrop-off and pickup at Footprint Center, Chase Field, State Farm Stadium and Desert Diamond Arena, with no parking fees and no surge pricing at the final whistle.
Concert and event limoThe chauffeur holds the vehicle between stops in downtown Phoenix, Tempe or Old Town Scottsdale and keeps the group together until the last stop.
Night on the town limoA clean, decorated vehicle for the church, the photos and the party, or a quiet sedan for an anniversary dinner.
Quinceañera limoChoose by headcount first, then by the occasion. A car that is too small means a second car and a second bill.
Seat counts vary by vehicle, and your quote names the exact one.
For 15 or more people, a party bus usually works out cheaper per person than two limos, because you pay one hourly rate and one minimum. For 10 or fewer, a stretch limo or Sprinter is usually the better value.
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) moved 51.6 million passengers in 2025, and March 2026 was its busiest month ever. On a day like that, the hard part is finding your ride at the curb with tired kids and three bags. We take that part off your hands.
Add it to your booking. We track the flight and adjust the pickup if you land early or late.
Sky Harbor has two passenger terminals, Terminal 3 and Terminal 4, linked by the PHX Sky Train. Your confirmation names the meeting point.
At the curb or inside for meet-and-greet. Your chauffeur arrives 10 minutes early and helps with the bags.
No waiting in a hot pickup line in July. The car is cooled before you step outside.
We also serve Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) for East Valley flights and Scottsdale Airport (SDL) for private aviation.
Yes. We track every inbound flight, so a delay moves the pickup time. If you land two hours late, your car is still waiting and there is no extra charge for the wait.
Yes, 15 to 20 percent is usual unless gratuity is already included. Your quote says which.
Limo rides go wrong in the same few ways, and you can read them on any review site. Here is each one and what we do about it.
We keep standby vehicles and drivers on call. If your chauffeur cannot make it, dispatch sends a replacement within 30 minutes anywhere in the Valley and calls you with the new driver’s name.
Your written quote covers the vehicle, the chauffeur, fuel and standard wait time. No fuel surcharge, late-night fee or surprise line item.
The exact vehicle is named in your confirmation. The one you booked is the one that arrives.
In a Phoenix summer, broken AC is a safety problem, not a comfort one. Every vehicle is cleaned and inspected between trips, including the AC and sound system, and swapped before you leave if anything is wrong.
We cap bookings on peak weekends like prom season and spring wedding Saturdays and hold backup vehicles, so a confirmed booking is never bumped.
In 2024, 347 of the 1,228 people killed on Arizona roads died in alcohol-related crashes. A booked ride home takes the question off the table.

We match your trip with the right vehicle and a licensed local chauffeur, and send a confirmation by text and email.
The night before, you get the driver’s name, the vehicle number and a direct phone line.
Your chauffeur arrives 10 minutes early, opens the door to a cool, clean cabin, and confirms the drop-off point before you get there.
Book prom and October weddings 2 to 3 months ahead, and WM Phoenix Open week as early as you can. Airport rides and weeknight dinners can usually be booked a few days ahead. If your date is close, call anyway.
Most event bookings have a 2 to 4 hour minimum, and party buses usually 4 hours. Airport transfers are one flat trip. Your quote shows the minimum for your vehicle and date.
Arizona weather and Arizona event traffic change how a good ride is planned. Here is how we plan around both.
Phoenix had 70 days at 110°F or hotter in 2024. Your car is cooled before pickup, waits with the AC on, and drops you at the door instead of across a hot parking lot.
Monsoon season runs June 15 to September 30, with flash flooding and dust storms that can cut visibility to almost zero. A chauffeur who drives the Valley daily knows ADOT’s “Pull Aside, Stay Alive” rule and which roads flood first.
The WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale draws 600,000 or more fans in one week, and Cactus League spring training brought 1.75 million fans to 10 ballparks in 2026. A booked pickup beats the parking lot and the surge price.
Peak season runs October to May. October is the busiest wedding month, February and March bring the Phoenix Open and spring training, and April and May are prom season. Summer stays busy for airport, corporate and indoor concert rides.
Our main office is at 1681 E McKinley St in central Phoenix, about 10 minutes from Sky Harbor. From there we cover the whole Valley of the Sun and run full-day trips across Arizona. A car is staged within 30 minutes of most Valley addresses.
Downtown, Roosevelt Row, Arcadia, the Biltmore, Ahwatukee and Desert Ridge, plus every Sky Harbor run.
Old Town nights, Kierland, the resorts and WM Phoenix Open week at TPC Scottsdale.
Game days and concerts at State Farm Stadium and Desert Diamond Arena, and the Westgate district.
Cubs spring training at Sloan Park, downtown Mesa and Mesa Gateway Airport.
ASU events, Mill Avenue and Tempe Town Lake.
The Price Corridor tech campuses, downtown Chandler and Ocotillo.
Heritage District dinners and East Valley weddings.
| Destination | Why people go | Route | Drive each way (approx.) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sedona | Red rocks, Verde Valley wineries, resorts | I-17 north | About 2 hours |
| Flagstaff | Northern Arizona University, winter snow trips | I-17 north | About 2 hours |
| Grand Canyon South Rim | Day tours and sunset trips | I-17, then via Flagstaff or Williams | About 3.5 to 4 hours |
| Tucson | University of Arizona, Tucson International Airport | I-10 south | About 2 hours |
Long trips are booked as full-day charters, so the chauffeur waits and nobody drives the long road home. All areas we serve
A limo company in Arizona needs an ADOT Vehicle for Hire permit and minimum liability insurance. Larger buses can also fall under federal FMCSA rules and need a USDOT number. We hold an ADOT limousine license and commercial insurance, and every chauffeur is background-checked and drug-tested.
Adults 21 and over can usually drink in a hired limousine, because Arizona’s open-container law makes an exception for passengers in vehicles operated for hire. The chauffeur never drinks, and no one under 21 may have alcohol on board.
A first DUI in Arizona carries at least 10 days in jail (most can be suspended), at least $1,250 in fines, a 90-day license suspension and an ignition interlock for 12 months. A chauffeured ride home removes that risk for the whole group.
Ask for the ADOT permit number and the insurance certificate. A real operator sends both quickly.
For a party bus, look up the USDOT number on the FMCSA website.
Ask for photos of the exact vehicle, not stock photos.
Get the vehicle, hours, fees and gratuity in writing.
Be careful with a company that has only a free email address, no street address, or asks for a deposit to a personal payment app.
A limo is not always the right answer. Here is an honest comparison for rides in Arizona.
| Option | Best for | How it is priced | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chauffeured limo or SUV | Groups of 4 to 14, weddings, prom, nights out, early flights | Hourly with a minimum, or a flat airport fare | Book early on peak dates |
| Party bus | 15 or more people, bar crawls, big birthdays | Hourly, often a 4-hour minimum | Check AC, sound system and the exact bus in writing |
| Uber Black or rideshare | 1 to 4 people, short point-to-point trips | Per trip, set by demand | Surge pricing after games and concerts; groups need several cars |
| Robotaxi (Waymo) | Solo travelers or couples with light bags in its service area | Per trip | No help with luggage; check your pickup is in its zone |
| Shared airport shuttle | Budget solo airport trips | Per person | Several stops before yours |
For one or two people on a short trip, no. For a group, often yes. Six friends in one SUV for an evening can cost less per person than three rideshare cars both ways, especially when prices surge as a stadium empties. The limo also keeps the group together and waits for you.
Yes, but the fleet has changed. Many groups now choose SUVs, Sprinter vans and party buses over the classic stretch limo. The reasons people book have not changed: a big day, a big group, and nobody driving home.
Five common trips, and how each one is handled.
The flight lands 90 minutes late. The chauffeur has tracked it, is at the curb with a sign, and the price stays exactly as quoted.
The chauffeur stays on site all night and texts the parent 10 minutes before each pickup. No alcohol, no surprise charges.
The same small group of drivers each time, one monthly invoice, and a spotless car.
A Sprinter for the group, the chauffeur handles every door, and an extra hour can be added at the quoted rate.
The chauffeur knows the photo stops, handles the I-17 climb, and keeps water in the back.
Straight answers to the questions riders ask most. If yours is not here, call (928) 437-4602 and dispatch will answer it directly.
The best one is licensed and insured, shows up on time, and gives you a written quote that does not change. Before you book anyone, ask for the ADOT permit, the insurance certificate and the driver’s name.
Yes. Dispatch answers around the clock, and we run airport transfers, corporate pickups and event rides seven days a week.
If you are anywhere in the Phoenix Valley, yes. Cars are staged within 30 minutes of most Valley addresses, from Glendale and Peoria to Mesa, Gilbert and Scottsdale. For Sedona, Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon or Tucson, book a full-day charter.
It depends on the vehicle, the hours and the date, and most groups split the total per student. Prom weekends in April and May book up first, so request your quote 2 to 3 months ahead.
A stretch limo usually seats 8 to 10, an SUV stretch about 12 to 14, and a party bus 20 or more. Your quote names the exact seat count.
A car service usually means a sedan or SUV for one to six people, often point to point. A limo service adds stretch limos, Sprinters and buses for groups and events, usually by the hour.
A standby vehicle is sent within 30 minutes anywhere in the Valley, and you get a call with the new driver’s name.
No extra tip is needed if gratuity is in your quote. A little extra for great service is always welcome but never expected.
Yes. Ask for a vehicle with clear windows, not fully blacked-out glass, and plan 2 to 3 hours for ZooLights, Glendale Glitters or the Desert Botanical Garden.
Yes, as full-day charters. Sedona is about 2 hours each way, so plan at least 8 hours.
